Once they’ve seen you’re listing customers are bound to start getting in touch! Customers can send an email straight to your inbox via a button on your listing. Plus, with any paid listing you can add further contact info, including your website and social media profiles.

Yes! Log in and visit ‘My Profile’.

Click on the ‘My Listings’ tab and click on the listing you wish to edit.

Hit the ‘edit’ button at the top left of your listing and make any changes you like. Don’t forget to hit the ‘submit’ button to save your changes.

NOPE! We decided that would be rubbish for you guys – running a watersports business can be expensive enough. You don’t need us taking a commission too. Plus, everyone likes to know exactly where they are with their income & outgoings. Just pay once annually for your listing and that’s it. (Unless you have the basic listing – then that’s free!)

Yup! You can have as many listings as you like! One listing = 1 location on the Watersports.Guru map.

Yes! Upgrading to a paid listing is a great way to give visitors a better idea of your business. To upgrade…

Login, click ‘My Profile,‘ and go to your ‘My Listings‘ tab. Select the listing you wish to upgrade.

At the top left of your listing click ‘upgrade‘ (next to the edit button).

Choose which package you would like to upgrade to. Fill in the form that appears. As long have you have selected a new package, any new fields will automatically appear within the form ready for you to enter your extra details.

Hit ‘Submit’, complete the checkout and you’re all done!

If at any time you’d like to go back to a free listing, just cancel your listing and take out a new basic listing.

Yes! This is one of our favourite features! Let your own website visitors see how great you are by showcasing your starts on your own website too!

Please note you must have at least one rating before your ratings will become visible on your listing page.

To embed your ratings on your website, first visit your listing details page.

On the top left under your stars, click Embed this Rating on Your Site

A pop-up window will open. You can adjust customisations on the left.

Once you are happy, click Copy Code.

Finally, open your websites page editor and paste the HTML code where you would like the rating widget to appear. We recommend pasting it in your footer.

Asking customers to rate your business can seem daunting, but it’s actually a lot easier than you might think. Most people are happy to leave a review, and as a business, having a plethora of good reviews from genuinely happy customers is one of the best ways to encourage new customers to get in touch.

Here are some tips:

  • Verbally ask your customers after they have used your service if they would mind leaving a review on Watersports.Guru.
  • Remind customers to leave you a review by including it in your emails and newsletters.
  • Contact old customers who have previously used your service and prompt them to leave a review. Hey! You can also use this as an opportunity to tell them about any other exciting updates!

Yes! By default, all listings and subscriptions are set to auto-renew to ensure no down-time for your listing. But if you would like to cancel it is super easy.

Please do this at least 7 days before your next payment date to ensure you do not get charged any further payments.

To cancel a listing Login and visit your Account Settings. Submit the form at the bottom of the page.

You’ll need your Username, Listing ID (found at the bottom of your listing’s page), and Order Number (found on your confirmation email) to complete the form.

Once you have submitted your form, your listing will be deleted from the directory and no further payments will be taken.

Please note it may take up to 7 days for changes to take effect on the site.

We can’t reactivate previously expired, deleted or cancelled listings. But if you’d like to relist your business at any time, simply create a new listing here!

Yes, you heard it right. If you’ve changed your mind for any reason it’s no problem! Paid listings can be cancelled any time within the first 30 days for a full refund.

As soon as you are refunded, your listing will be deleted and will no longer be visible in the directory.

To request a refund within 30 days of your listing purchase date, please Login and visit your Account Settings. Submit the refund request form at the bottom of the page.
