NOPE! Running a watersports business can be expensive enough – you don’t need us taking a commission every time someone gets in touch with you to enquire or make a booking.
We make our money only from the listing fee. So all you have to do is pay once annually/monthly for your listing to appear on the site and that’s it. (Unless you have the Basic listing – then that’s free!)
We make it as easy as possible for customers to get in contact with you directly.
With any paid listing, customers can immediately drop you an email via the ‘Enquire Now’ button displayed on your listing. Furthermore, you can show any contact info you like, including your telephone number, website, and social media profiles. It helps to give customers as many opportunities as possible to get in touch.
We also understand all water-related services & activities will have different needs when liaising with customers – Your business is unique and we wouldn’t want to take that away! So customers will contact you directly to make bookings and enquiries.

To verify a pre-existing listing, search for it using the search bar. Click on the listing. Then click the verify link under the title to claim it as your own.
Yes, you can edit anything on your listing(s) at any time!
Login to your account and click on the My listings tab.
Click on the listing you wish to edit.
Click the edit button at the top left of your listing and make any changes you like. Don’t forget to hit the submit button to save your changes.
Yes! To ensure there’s no downtime for your listing, subscriptions will automatically renew on the date stated in your subscription details page, unless you have cancelled your subscription, or requested a deletion.
A big benefit of our listing packages is that you can stop/start your listing at any time.
Stopping a listing will hide it from appearing in the Watersports.Guru search results – so customers can’t find you. But fear not, your listing will remain saved in your account. Including all your businesses photos, reviews, and ratings. So you can quickly start your listing again in the future should you wish.
This is gold if you’re a seasonal business on the monthly package. Yeah! You can stop your listing during your downtime and reactivate it when the season begins again – saving you some pennies!
Most businesses like to appear in the search all year round, but you can start/stop the pay yearly package too.
To stop a listing
Login and visit your Account settings.
Click Subscriptions and find the subscription you wish to stop.
Click View. Then click Cancel.
Your listing will remain visible on the site until the end of your paid period, (either end of year or end of month). After which your listing will become invisible. So don’t worry if it doesn’t disappear straight away. No further payments will be taken from your account until you chose to start your listing again in the future.
To start a stopped listing
Login and visit the My listings tab.
Click on the listing you wish to start. (It will be labelled expired).
Click the renew button at the top left of your listing and choose the renewal package you like. Complete the checkout and your business will reappear to customers in the search results as soon as payment is complete. YAY!
If you would like to permanently delete your listing from the site, please follow instructions for permanently deleting a listing instead.
Permanently deleting a listing
Deleting a listing is different to stopping your listing. Deleting means you will permanently lose all your info, reviews, and ratings associated with that listing. Therefore, we strongly recommend stopping your listing instead, as you can reactivate a stopped listing at anytime.
However, if you are certain you would like to permanently delete your listing anyway, please follow these steps.
Visit your Account settings. Submit the form at the bottom of the page.
You’ll need your Username, Listing ID (found at the bottom of your listing’s page), and Order Number (found on your confirmation email) to complete the form.
Once you have submitted your form, your listing will be deleted from the site and no further payments will be taken.
Please do this at least 7 days before your next payment date to ensure you do not get charged any further payments. It may take up to 7 days for changes to take effect and your listing to disappear on the site.
Unfortunately, we can’t reactivate any previously deleted listings. However you can start a fresh listing for your business at any time by creating a new listing here.

At the top left of your listing click upgrade (next to the edit button).
Choose your new package. As long have you have selected an upgraded package, any new fields you are granted access to will appear in the form, ready for you to add in your extra details.
Click Submit and complete the checkout to finish upgrading!

Please note you must have at least one rating before your ratings will become visible on your listing page.
To embed your ratings on your website, first visit your listing details page.
On the top left under your stars, click Embed this Rating on Your Site
A pop-up window will open. You can adjust customisations on the left.
Once you are happy, click Copy Code.
Finally, open your website’s page editor and paste the HTML code where you would like the rating widget to appear. We recommend pasting it in your footer. If you’re not sure, ask your website developer for help to do this.
Asking customers to rate your business can seem daunting, but it’s a lot easier than you might think. Most people are happy to leave a review, and as a business, having a plethora of good reviews from genuinely happy customers is one of the best ways to encourage new customers to get in touch.

Yes, you heard it right. If you’ve changed your mind for any reason it’s no problem! Paid listings can be deleted any time within the first 30 days for a full refund.
As soon as you are refunded, your listing will be deleted and will no longer be visible on the site.
To request a refund within 30 days of your listing purchase date, please Login and visit your Account settings. Submit the refund request form at the bottom of the page.
It may take up to 7 days for changes to take effect and your listing to disappear on the site.
